Into Month 6 -

I had a lovely weekend with my husband. Friday we went and saw 'Big Miracle' and then watched 'The Help' at home. Saturday we went and saw 'The Vow'. I must say after watching that, I hope I never forgot Chris. Though I would give him the benefit of the doubt more then she did. It's been a long time since we had a movie weekend, felt good.

Speaking of movies, this Friday the new Studio Ghibli movie will be in theatres and I am praying that it'll come to my little city.

I am officially in my 6th month of drawing, which adds to the craziness of life right now. I started a painting for the Juried Art Show. This Thursday I should be enrolling for my online schooling and starting that.

 Day 151:

A cute caterpillar using crosshatch.
 Day 152:

Another dragonfly. I love the style of scribble that I used for the wings. You have just built the darkness with layers. I learned that style in University weirdly.
 Day 153:

And to finish it all off, I tried a butterfly again. Maybe one day, I'll draw one that I actually like. Haha. Maybe I should try to draw an photo real butterfly.
Day 154:

So for Month 6, I have decided to do doodles like I used to in High School. They are weird collaborations of things I see and things I imagine. Sometimes they are drawn representations of things, for example, this one is a wet kiss. Get it? Haha.

Baking..

Today I slept late again. Bad dreams and just felt down. Weirdly on the day of Bell's Let Talk.

I baked Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes today. The cream's texture ended up a bit weird but they taste good and they look good.

Slowly I am getting more and more projects done that I have pinned on Pinterest. I have my crayons all glued for a melted crayon picture but I am trying to make mine a little different with a quote from Dolly Parton. And trying to find a good way to not make a mess with the drippings.

Day 150:

Holy! 150 days of drawing. Craziness.
Weird polka dot beetle today.

Bugs...

The start of my 4th month. Life is so crazy right now and I am working on getting it a little settled.

My husband had a course to attend today in Yorkton so we drove up last night and spent the night. Today I drove around and shopped in the frigid weather.

 Day 122:

This month will be a month of bugs. To think of warmer weather. A dragonfly to start. Dragonflies stick out everywhere for me. They are so beautiful.
 Day 123:

A ladybug. Red and cute. All over the place. Haha.
 Day 124:

I don't really know what this was supposed to be. A beetle? Maybe? It kind of looks like one. Some bugs will be drawn from my imagination, that's for sure. :)
 Day 125:

I am not a huge fan of butterflies. They are played out and it seems like every girl has one as a tattoo or on her car. What can you do?
Day 126:

Ants. They can be drawn real cute but they are pretty annoying.

Now to go look (and hope) my phone charger is in my bag.

Craziness...

Almost Christmas.. so crazy. It doesn't feel like Christmas at all, but I am on track now. Finished my shopping today with my friend, Chantel. Just have to wrap and get them tucked away under the tree.

Still trying to do some baking. Need to start some as soon as I am done posting this as I am heading to visit some friends and I want to take some for a Chrissy-mas present, but I didn't realize how long it had been since I had posted until my friend, Mandy, texted me today... a lot. ;)

So my 4th month of drawing is going to be.... quotes.
I read quotes on a daily basis on my Twitter feed and on my Facebook, so I am going to take some of the ones I like and post them here with some doodles around them.

Most of my quotes are from @AffirmYourLife and @Inspire_Us on Twitter. And Oprah's Facebook page. And Soul Pancake, which if you have never checked out... you should... just saying.

Day 93:

Nothing really to say about most of them. The quotes are what they are and I tried to draw something associated with it.
 Day 94:

Love, love, love this quote... (multiplied by forever)
 Day 95:
 Day 96:

I think people think I am weird and I think I am weird... but that is ok.
 Day 97:

 Day 98:

I little sloppy, but was trying to get a lot done yesterday while working both jobs, when I thought I only worked one. Haha go me.
Day 99:

And just after celebrating 3 months of drawing..

tomorrow will be 100 days! Holy moley!

Well, I, for sure this time, only work one job tomorrow. So in between wrapping presents, baking, cleaning and going out to check the mail, I will draw an extra special quote.

Whoa!

Everyday for 3 months!! Crazy. So crazy. I am proud of myself but astonished at the same time. I have drawn something everyday for a quarter of a year.

Now I have to think of a new theme... by tomorrow. (grumble)

 Day 90:

A morning glory. I feel as if I am in the morning of the rest of my life. Starting slightly new, kind of fresh. So much ahead of me.
 Day 91:

A poppy. Drew this mainly as I was Christmas shopping and my mom loves poppies. So they stuck out in all the stores.

I have always been quite exceptional at remembering what people like and then it just seems to pop out everywhere I shop. I pride myself in that.
Day 92:

Don't really know what I was trying to make of this one. Distracted by tea and a movie. And trying to think of a new subject for the next 30 days.

Hmmm....

(ponder ponder)

Broken...

These days were rough. I felt broken and saddened and tired. First full week of work in a year and it was every day. Crazy.

Finally had enough of being walked on by some people so I voiced my pain and one person didn't take it well apparently.

‎"Be who you are and say how you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"
Dr. Seuss

She minded....

Anyways,

Day 82:

A broken flower for a broken girl.

Day 83:

A little sad flower for losing a friend. 5 years, but I do not need a friend who treats me the way she has or angers when you voice your concerns.

Day 84:

A new beginning, new growth and new blooms.

Day 85:

Attempting to draw a rose. A flower of beauty and love. Eventually my roses will actually look like roses and not just blobs of scribbles. :)

Back at 'er..

Life has been a tad bit crazy. I have been working every single day for the past two weeks, and I don't have a day off until Christmas Day.
I lost a friend, not in death but still sad, last week. I have learned many lessons lately and one of them, is art is what I love and I need to do it even when life gets me down.

Day 79:

I googled a flower of freedom and a lily came off so I drew it. It was my last day of somewhat freedom, before I started my second job.
 Day 80:

So I started my second job this day. So I drew a dying flower. I go from one job to the next with half an hour between. It's crazy but it's good.
Day 81:

A flower of technology. My second job consists of working with computer techs and on computers.

Whoa...

That was a crazy weekend.

Thursday I went up and visited with Megan and Tanner. Carved another pumpkin for her. Picked up Christopher and headed to Yorkton for a bit. Bought 2 massive canvasses for $20 and won for cash-ola at the Casino.

Friday was a lazy day and my brother's birthday gathering. Got some more uber-cute pictures of my nieces. Went and visited with Chantel when Chris played video games with his brother and fell in love with Grimm.

 Day 45:

Just a quick doodle-rama of an eye. Was trying to pop one out quickly before heading up north.
Day 46:

This was trying a cartoon-y eye. I don't fully like the shape that the eye turn out with but I think the realism of the iris and pupil made the cartoon shape look so bad.

Crazy..

It is almost Hallowe'en! :)

I carved a pumpkin for my friend Chantel today. It looks awesome!

Chris comes home tomorrow and I get to see Megan for a bit when I go to pick him up.

Day 44:

So because it's almost Hallowe'en, I decided to draw some crazy contact eyes. Kitty cat.. meow!

I also finally shared this blog link on Facebook. I think I will share it Noah Scalin at 50 days. So the start of November, (bites nails) I am kind of nervous.

Whirlwind..

The last week has been crazy.

So here is the catch up.

 Day 36:

Just an eye from memory after a couple beers at the Napalm Death show. Turned out pretty well.
 Day 37:
My attempt at an Anime eye. Haven't done one in, oh, a good decade. Not liking it.
Day 38:
Trying to make my eyes more narrow as I tend to draw my eyes in quite a shocked state most of the time.

And more...

It's the weekends really. They are so crazy, can't keep up with posting. I would be able too if I could find an easy way to use Blogger on my phone.

I am very much alone this week as my father has gone away hunting with my brother. It's kind of scary sometimes being alone out here.

Day 18:

After cuddling with my kitty for a bit, I decided for a change I would draw a cat face. I eventually got a good enough picture on my phone to base it from. It's a little hard to get the colour differences with a black ballpoint, but it's cute. :)

 Day 19:

Just grabbed a Sharpie marker and drew this very quickly with no pauses. I felt it kind of odd that going quickly I chose to draw a male.
Day 20:

This was truly just a random.. random. I just started drawing the eye and just carried on from there.

Pretty flowergirl.

Had something possibly truly amazing happen this weekend in regards to an art project. I don't want to talk to much about it in case it doesn't happen. But (squee) :)
