Oh technology is so frustrating. So bloody frustrating. So I managed to get 3 out of the 4 off my phone. I will draw my picture for today and attempt to get the last off my phone again.

The only bonus with technology is I finally got my last.fm plug-in window out from outer screen. It was hiding but I finally found it.

Blood Flame Eye. I love it. Drawing eyes is seriously an addiction. Haha.

Yesterday I went and saw Wide Mouth Mason live. (squee) They were so good. My friend and I sat in the back on a nice comfy couch. We could barely see them but we just grooved out to the awesome performance. So happy to have finally seen them live. :)
Chatted at my friend's place for a bit after the show and was super wiped when I got home but I managed to squeak out this eye.
Day 58:
I tried out another Anime eye. I like this one better then my last one as I didn't make the iris look so life like. It's been so long since I drawn Anime eyes on a regular basis that they looks so weird to me now.
Today, I went in to get my hydro hooked up and my tenant's insurance. Bumped into an old friend that I haven't seen in 10 years and I really wouldn't have minded it staying that way but that's life. We start moving tomorrow!!! Super excited to be in our own place.
Picked up my husband today and he starts his new position next week and will be home every night depending on the roads.
He bought me Glee Season One on DVD. Yay for learning the whole story to the show. Haha.
Day 59:
Today is just a normal eye drawn by me. I like my reflections lately. And the starburst that I put in this iris.

So much packing and not leaving the house, due to packing, makes a girl sleepy. To the point that I was in bed by 10:30pm. Then I remembered that I had not drawn an eye and quickly jotted one down before passing out.
Then I slept for 11 1/2 hours, which I had not planned.
Oh well. Sleep is good. :)
Day 57:
My quickly drawn, half asleep already, eye.
Only 4 more days of eyes and then something else. What shall I do? Hmm...
Signed into my Gmail account yesterday to find out that someone had been accessing it from the States. I like that Gmail notifies you right in your account. So password changed, let's see how it goes.

Roads were pure ice this morning! Holy Moly!
I went to get my key today and awesomely she gave me a key with Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter on it. Fantastic!
Received some boxes and enough wrap to wrap everything I own, fragile or not. Haha. I am trying to pack and purge my stuff at the same time.
Day 56:
This was supposed to be a tired and weary eye. I think it came out a bit more shocked. Need to work on narrowing the distance between upper and lower lids.
Need to head to bed soon to do some more packing tomorrow.

Lazy Friday night at home.
Went and looked at an apartment today. Yay! I really like it so I am hoping that she will consider us. It is downtown, right near the Art Gallery and Library. Nicely renovated and lots of light. Crossing my fingers and sending out my positivity into the Universe. :)
Thinking about messing around with my stained glass project this weekend. Read some stuff and see what I can do before asking my Dad to teach me how to use a soldering iron.
I have been feeling great lately. 4 days in a row of going to the gym and eating healthy. I applied for a job at a hotel as a front desk clerk. :)
So much excitement.

Super excited that The Diving Bell and The Butterfly is on TV. I have wanted to watch it for quite a while. It's quite a motivating story.
Started looking for our own place today. I'm excited and nervous all at once.
Day 52:
As I was about to start drawing this evening, my cat Molly jumped into my lap for I drew a cat eye. Meow.
I love cat's eyes. The shape and the fact that they have two eyelids.

Spent a nice day with my friend Jon. Did some shopping, had some dinner and watched some TV. :)

Just the ball today. Haha. I am really liking my irises lately, though I am looking at it now as if it is too small for the eye. A little colour help too. Maybe I'll start adding colour next month. I have 11 days to figure out what I am doing next.

It's Hallowe'en!
However I did not draw a Hallowe'en based eye. Bad Nicole. I got super distracted by House and The Next Iron Chef (Go Team Chuck Hughes) and getglue.com. I'm addicted. I just sat there rating things. Haha.
Tomorrow I will get out and do stuff more then just groceries. Tomorrow is Day 50! Holy Moley!
Day 49:
So this is my scribbled eye that I drew today. I like it because I like my messy drawings but I know inside that I could have done better. I should push myself further.

Saturday was dress up and party night for Hallowe'en. I didn't end up being a Wacky Waving Inflatable Flailing Arm Tube Man and went Steam Punk instead. Glad we decided to ditch the line at Housten's and go to the 40. The band was awesome. The girls could belt it out and they didn't butcher any songs. Good night.
Sunday, I picked up some stained glass and soldering metals for learning some stained glass. (bites nails) I am scared for this but I am going to start with a simple block pattern and my Dad is going to teach me how to use a Soldering Iron. Chris purchased him and myself a 160GB Ipod Classic and Klipsch Earbuds. (squee) Now I am on a mission to fill it. Ha Ha! So far I can listen to my Ipod for 23 days straight and not repeat a song, and that's only 56GB. Love it!
Day 47:
I attempted drawing a crying eye as I was a little upset that I wasn't being a Wacky Waving Inflatable Flailing Arm Tube Man and that my friend Mandy wasn't coming in to celebrate. I like it but I don't like it. I'll work on it.
Day 48:
Just a quick eye. Chris and I kept on the go for most of the day so I drew one when I was setting up the Ipods. Still trying to work on proper proportions.

This was based on my niece's eye when she was very small so her eyelashes were barely visible. I need to get comfortable with not having tons of lashes.

Also based on my niece's eye but this was recently. I love my nieces' eyes. I wish I could do them justice.

I had quite the little productive day yesterday.
I realized after I was comfortable in bed, yet not falling asleep that I forgot to post my face yesterday.
Today will be decently busy, but mostly with my face for today. I am carving one of my pumpkins because I need the innards for a pumpkin cheesecake for my husband's return home. He missed Thanksgiving so I am making Turkey Chilli and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Yum Yum.
Day 28:
I tried working on the eyes. While looking in the mirror, I really looked at my eyes and realized that I have been drawing the irises way too small so I tried beefing them up a bit.
I am liking the way my lips are starting to look. Still a little big though.

Thanksgiving at my brother's was delicious. It was nice to visit with my grandma and just watching my crazy nieces.
I showed my niece the picture I drew of her yesterday and she actually saw herself in it, she actually thought that I had taken a picture of her with an app on my phone. Whoop whoop.
I decided at one point this evening to play with my nieces' chalk and chalkboard.
Day 27:
I didn't have enough room to do a full face. Haha. My niece said I could use it but I couldn't erase anything that was already on it.
I figured afterwards that I should not have filled in the eye with the white. There is not much difference between white and the green, or I could have done blue eyes, oh well.
This is it. It was fun, I haven't played with chalk in a while.

I had a couple pleasant nights of visiting with friends. You should always work on the friendships that you have, not worry about the ones who don't reciprocate.
Fallen behind on posting again, but not worried. At least I am getting it done, and I am really the only person looking at them. Haha. Sometimes I even wonder why I write so much before I post the picture.
Day 24:
I don't really know what I was wanting to lips to look like but once you draw with pen, you have to work with it.
I did get a nice, almost, disgusted look I could say.
I am trying to work on the size of the cranium. Making sure that it looks like you can have a skull in there. Haha.
Day 25:
Made the lips waayy too big. Haha. I tried drawing a face the way I used to draw a cartoon back in High School. So it made one of the eyes kind of cock-eyed. But she does look like a tough broad that's for sure. She would whoop your butt.

Today was just a day..
Didn't really want to get out of bed today.
However, I managed to cook fish for the first time ever. I baked salmon with a very lovely dijon honey breadcrumb crust.
Watched some Biggest Loser, and cried of course. Followed by New Girl (Love), my little 30 minutes of happiness every Tuesday.
We found a listing for a beautiful large character home for 75000 and we were hoping to fix it up real nice but we found out that it sold and that made me sad.
Day 21:
While finding a page in my sketchbook, I noticed a drawing that I had tried to do with buttons for eyes, so I am assuming I was watching Coraline. So I decided that was what I would try to do today.
There are actually these dolls with buttons for eyes that I think look really cool.
Lalaloopsy Dolls are the new version of rag dolls I suppose. Whatevs, they look all cute and punky and I like 'em.

It's the weekends really. They are so crazy, can't keep up with posting. I would be able too if I could find an easy way to use Blogger on my phone.
I am very much alone this week as my father has gone away hunting with my brother. It's kind of scary sometimes being alone out here.
Day 18:
After cuddling with my kitty for a bit, I decided for a change I would draw a cat face. I eventually got a good enough picture on my phone to base it from. It's a little hard to get the colour differences with a black ballpoint, but it's cute. :)
Day 19:
Just grabbed a Sharpie marker and drew this very quickly with no pauses. I felt it kind of odd that going quickly I chose to draw a male.
Day 20:
This was truly just a random.. random. I just started drawing the eye and just carried on from there.

Had something possibly truly amazing happen this weekend in regards to an art project. I don't want to talk to much about it in case it doesn't happen. But (squee) :)

Doctors' appointment. Bought tickets to the Westman Wine Festival. (exciting!!) Baked 2 things. Pissed someone off on Facebook. Oh what fun life is.
My husband landed a job with CN in Maryfield SK. So we started looking at houses in Virden. There are a couple super cute ones. :) I am super pumped but scared of purchasing our first home...
Day 10:
I kind of went for a doll look. I almost left the eyes blank actually. Ha ha. It's so creepy looking but I really like it. I couldn't figure out how I wanted to do the hair though, so I could left the head naked.
I am feeling quite proud of myself so far. I am doing all of this with no comments or motivation from others. And I know that as much as everything I read says "go public" with your goals, right now, this feels right. I need to do this for myself first. Then when I have a good build up, I will share with Make Something and on my Facebook. Well it is on my Facebook, I just didn't announce it so someone would actually have to look at my info page and click on my website link.

The second day.
I didn't even really think about drawing a face until I sat down to watch America's Next Top Model.
Today consisted of pre-planning a Europe trip and struggling with batik onesies for my best friend's new son. Blah, I'll see what it looks like once it is dry. The black dye ended up a little purple-ish gray and the resistant areas didn't turn out as clear as I wanted them, but enough about that..
On to faces...
Day 2:
I just drew a face with a layout pencil and a sketch book.
I am not sure why I choose to leave the eyes blank, I just kind of liked the look and it felt as it should have been left that way.
This is a typical facial drawing from me. Start with the right (to the reader, left to the girl) eye and work out from there.
I would like work more on lips; I have had a juror in an art show mention that to me before as well.
